There were 251 residential, single-family homes sold during the month of April in Johnson County. The median sale price for sold homes was $199,900. This amount shows an increase from the $175,000 recorded this time last year. The median listing price was $199,990. This amount is also up from the $179,000 in April 2018.
There were 113 residential, single-family homes sold during the month of April in Greenwood. The median sale price for sold homes was $220,000. This amount shows an decrease from the $225,000 recorded this time last year. The median listing price was $224,900. This amount is also down from the $229,000 in April 2018.
What Does this Data Mean?
April began with a total of 250 single-family homes listed without an offer in Johnson County. This is up from last year’s 229. There were 141 single-family homes listed without an offer in Greenwood. This number is up from the 127 in April 2018.
There’s currently a 1.25 months supply of real estate inventory in both Johnson County and Greenwood. This number remains consistent when compared to statistics from this time last year. For the market to be considered balanced, there would need to be a 6 months supply of inventory available on the real estate market.
