Our Thoughts on February 2021

The February 2021 real estate market continued to move briskly and inventory remains extremely low making it a great time to sell and a challenging time to find a new home, yet interest rates are still in the 3% range, keeping it affordable to buy too.  We thought homes were flying off the market last year, but from reviewing the current statistics, with the exception of Downtown Indy condos, all areas are selling more than 55% faster than they did in February 2020 and prices are up too!  We continue to offer “out of the box” strategies to help both our buyers and sellers win.  Here are some of the highlights for February in popular Indianapolis areas and surrounding communities.

Highest Median Sold Price:  Carmel $439,000

Largest Price Increase:  Greenwood rose 42.2% compared to February 2020

Lowest Inventory:  Brownsburg with 5 active listings and 0.1 months supply

Most Affordable:  Perry Township with median sold price of $190,000
